From June 12 to June 14, 2019, the 2019 China Commodities and Services (Uzbekistan) exhibition hosted by the Ministry of Commerce and the Foreign Trade Development Bureau was opened in Tashkent. The First Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan, Alishe Abdul Aliyev, the First Vice-President of the Uzbekistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Islam Zhasimov, the Ambassador of China to Uzbekistan Jiang Yan, the President of the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Mechanical and Electrical Products Zhang Yujing, Economic and Commercial Counsellor Jin Yulong and other guests attended the opening ceremony and cut the ribbon.

Tianjin Modern Innovation TCM Technology Company (“Modern TCM Innovation Center”) was led by Ms. Wang Ping, the general manager. Modern TCM Innovation Center brought Chinese medicine products, health products, tea, health products, health food, traditional Chinese medicine tablets and miniaturization, intelligent medical health-testing equipment, which were from 10 top-quality enterprises’ R&D in pharmaceutical industry, to make a great debut in Tashkent exhibition. Modern TCM Innovation Center displayed the unique charm of China’s traditional wisdom, as well as the high-end, technological and international brand image of China’s manufacture, which also built a good platform for Modern TCM Innovation Center to make deeper expansion in the Central Asian market.

Before the exhibition, Modern TCM Innovation Center had done a thorough market research, learning that a high proportion of Uzbek people in the hinterland of Central Asia suffer from cardiovascular diseases due to climate, diet and other reasons. In response to this situation, the products brought to the exhibition were in line with the health needs of local people, and were highly praised.

After the exhibition, Ms. Wang Ping from Modern TCM Innovation Center also visited the local university. By launching an innovative cooperation model, enriching the content of cooperation between the two sides, and leveraging the resource endowment advantages of the two universities, the pragmatic cooperation between Modern TCM Innovation Center and the two universities would surely become a highlight for international cooperation and exchange of Chinese medicine.
