      In order to implement the important instructions of Xi Jinping on the work of traditional Chinese medicine conveyed at the National Conference of Traditional Chinese Medicine，the 2019 Advanced Seminar of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Sciences named as the second development of Chinese patent medicine and cultivation of large varieties (seventh) , hosted by Ministry of National Human Resources and Social Security, Tianjin Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, College of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Pharmaceutical Engineering ,Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Tianjin Modern Innovation Chinese Medicine Technology Co., Ltd., Chinese Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine Pharmaceutical Engineering Branch, Shanghai Credit Information Technology Co., Ltd. opened grandly in Tianjin from October 28th to November 1st, 2019. Guo Liping, Vice President of Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Ms. Zhang Jing, First-level Investigator of Tianjin Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, Wang Rui, Director of Biomedicine Department of Tianjin Science and Technology Bureau, Ruan Pengtao, Deputy Director of Scientific Research Department of Tianjin Education Commission, Li Zheng, Dean of College of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Pharmaceutical Engineering, Tianjin University of Tradition Chinese Medicine, and other leading experts attended the opening ceremony of the advanced seminar. In addition, hundreds of engineers and scientific management leaders from more than fifty modern Chinese medicine pharmaceutical companies nationwide participated in the training. The advanced seminar also specially invited enterprises from the "three regions and three states" regions, such as Tibet and Gansu, to strengthen the exchange and co-construction between schools and enterprises in various regions, to drive the development of pharmaceutical enterprises with technological innovation, to implement the scientific and technological poverty alleviation work of traditional Chinese medicine, and to  radiate regional economic construction with enterprise development.

    
     Guo Liping, the Vice President of Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, made an opening speech for the advanced seminar and expressed a warm welcome on behalf of the school to all members participating in the advanced seminar. President Guo also sincerely invited participants of this advanced seminar to visit the new campus of Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and hoped that everyone would conduct research on school-enterprise cooperation around specific issues, such as development, production and breeding of large varieties of traditional Chinese medicine, solve practical corporate problems through collaborative innovation , and accelerate the transformation of results in order to serve social and economic development.



      Ms. Zhang Jing, a first-level investigator of Tianjin Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, delivered a speech at the opening ceremony. She pointed out that the inheritance and innovation of traditional Chinese medicine is an important part of the cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era and a major event for the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, and the development of traditional Chinese medicine pharmaceuticals has ushered in a period of historical development opportunities. She affirmed the important contribution of the seminar to the cultivation of Chinese medicine and pharmaceutical talents and the application and promotion of technology industrialization. She also put forward learning requirements for trainees, and encouraged them to take advantage of learning opportunities and do more technical exchanges to keep up with industry development trends, as well as deepen and enhance the understanding of the traditional Chinese medicine and pharmaceutical industry.



     This advanced seminar invited a number of nationally renowned experts to give keynote speeches and deeply analyzed the key technology and equipment of traditional Chinese medicine smart pharmaceuticals for students from multiple perspectives through theoretical explanations, case analysis, interactive discussions and site investigations.

 
     Zhang Junhua, an outstanding talent of the new century from the Ministry of Education, Tianjin's young talents of science and technology, and vice president of the Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine of Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, gave a presentation on "Research Progress in Traditional Chinese Medicine".


 
     Professor Fan Xiaohui, deputy director of Zhejiang University School of Pharmacy, deputy director of Institute of Pharmaceutical Informatics, and deputy director of Tianjin Modern Chinese Medicine Collaborative Innovation Center, conducted training on "Cultivation Methods and Practices of Chinese Patent Medicines Based on Network Pharmacology"

 
     Wang Tao, a researcher at Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, director of Tianjin Key Laboratory of Traditional Chinese Medicine Chemistry and Analysis, and director of the third-level laboratory of Traditional Chinese Medicine Chemistry of the Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, shared the "Construction and Application of Traditional Chinese Medicine Chemical Component Library".

 
     Fan Guanwei, Director of the Laboratory Center of the First Affiliated Hospital of Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Director of Tianjin Key Laboratory of Traditional Chinese Medicine Translational Research, shared on "Chinese Medicine Cardiovascular Pharmacology and Secondary Development of Traditional Chinese Medicine".

         The holding of this state-level advanced seminar provided new ideas and opened up new horizons for promoting the rapid upgrading of the traditional Chinese medicine pharmaceutical industry and equipment industry, strengthening technological integration and technological innovation, and improving the level of traditional Chinese medicine equipment manufacturing.
